To celebrate popular Nickelodeon 1990s programs, the network joined forces with several NBA teams to host events around the country. These events leveraged newstalgia and fauxstalgia to create a multi-generational, interactive experience that immersed adults and kids alike in all things Nick '90s.
The partnership with NBA teams in four markets resulted in 60,000+ impressions!
This interactive experience featured custom-built pieces and activities from Nickelodeon’s most beloved '90s shows, giving attendees a chance to live out their childhood dreams of being a GUTS champion or running the classic Double Dare Obstacle Course. Iconic photo ops included the orange SNICK couch, the Double Dare host podium, and meet and greets with the Rugrats. Footage captured from event activations generated in-arena content for live segments and social channels.
The program was a re-introduction of all things 90s that led to the successful relaunch of Nickelodeon merchandise and several popular programs.
