Pocket.watch took an interactive gaming trailer on tour to 50 Walmart Supercenters across the country to support the launch of Ryan’s World “Race with Ryan” video game, from P.W. Games. Guests had the opportunity to demo the new video game before it was released, enter the ‘Race with Ryan Royal Cup Tournament’, play with select Ryan’s World toys, and meet Combo Panda.
During the eight-week tour, over 12,600 Ryan’s World fans attended the pop-up gaming experience.
Branded sales kiosks were busy throughout the day as parents pre-ordered “Race with Ryan” directly from Walmart.com. Guests also had the opportunity to enter the ‘Race with Ryan Royal Cup Tournament’ at each 3-hour event. The contestant with the fastest race time from each event won a copy of the brand-new video game. More than 3,860 kids, 10 and under, entered the tournament.
In addition to demoing the video game, Ryan’s World fans were thrilled to play with some of Ryan’s favorite toys, pose for a picture with Combo Panda and step behind the wheel in a “Race with Ryan” themed photo opportunity for parents and kids.
